Video of the boat on: https://vimeo.com/442504788 Here is a chance to escape this crazy world with our sailboat Blue Moon! We wouldn't sell her for the world if our one year visa wouldn't come to an end and we'll have to leave BC's beautiful coast to go back to Germany in October. Blue Moon is roomy at 29'8 with a 10'4 beam and near 6ft headroom. She is exceptionally well rigged for sailing/single handling + got all the comforts of a liveaboard. Since 2009 the boat got a makeover incl. a Perkins 3-cylinder diesel (1800 hours), lifelines, standing rigging, propane heater, 2 burner gimbaled stove with oven, hot water tank, cold plate in the fridge, new radio with GPS (2017) and Raymarine ST2000 Autohelm (new in 2017). All lines go to cockpit through new clutches and 4 headsail/spinnaker halyards all easy sail changes. She has a Lowrance HDS-7 GPS and Chart Plotter incl. the latest Navionics charts (updatet in 2017). We bought the boat in March 2020 and have been sailing and living on her ever since. We worked a lot on the boat incl. new bottom paint, installation of a 600 watt inverter and 100 watt solar panel incl. controller, having the engine serviced and equipping with required safety equipment (new flares, fire extinguishers, propane-sensor..), new Force 10 BBQ, new heavy anchor chain, one new house battery. Boat comes with paper charts and books of Vancouver Island and the inside passe up to Prince Rupert and fishing equipment. The boat is in good shape and ready to sail and motor. The 25 hp 3 cylinder perkins engine runs smooth and quiet while being able to drive the boat well in tides and currents where an outboard may struggle. Fuel use approximately 1.6 L/h at around 18.000 RPM which will drive the boat comfortably at just over 5 knots. Sails: Good Main; good 135% Genoa; good Jib; Brand new precision asymmetrical spinnaker; near new symmetrical spinnaker; older backup symmetrical spinnaker; spinnaker pole and bowsprit pole for asymmetrical spinnaker LOA: 29.58 FT / 9.02m Beam: 10.33 ft / 3.15 m Draft (max): 5.25 ft /1.6m Displacement: 7.500 lb / 3.402 kg
